Truly an enjoyable visit, under the circumstances. They are very accommodating to work schedules and trying to get your pet in as soon as possible. I had an appointment for the following morning and they called me right back insisting I bring my kitten in now to get treatment, that they would squeeze him in. They are also very well priced for a veterinary facility, even for a college student like me. I would wholeheartedly recommend this facility to anyone in the slate valley looking for a great place to take their animals for treatment.
We left their office relaxed and charmed. Chance was much better in 24hrs, just as predicted.
Dr Drew is a wonderful veterinarian. She is kind, thoughtful and very helpful in maintaining my dog's health.

Fantastic local Vet whom love animals. Our first visit showed us that the Vet, and her acclaimed dog trainer husband rate animals (especially dogs) number one.. Our Wine-Rymer, 'Chance' had suddenly become ill. We were worried and clueless. The possible costs also concerned us. After leaving a message, we were promptly called back (next morning) and given a prompt appointment time.
The cost was very reasonable too, especially as compared to some of the newer depersonalized clinics that seem to have become the vogue. They did not try and sell us on non emergency testing or gimmicks. Both of our unique (everyone's is) and precious dogs now have a Vet, not only for emergencies but for preventative care.
The Veterinarian quickly put Chance, and us, at ease and did in house diagnostic tests including some urine labs (she even helped us collect the urine). We were lovingly educated as to what was happening and what needed to be done. She gave us the necessary medicine and answered all of our questions. We also will follow up with her and her recommendations.
The guy who runs the place is a complete jerk! He doesn't care about your pet at all! Only cares about his pockets... The woman vet who works there is very good, but she needs to get rid of the guy. He will deny your dying pet vital meds without cash up front... he said "i have a board to answer to" like yeah right guy, this place is run out of a dirty little house! Board to answer to my rear... I decided not to pay them a penny because of the way this guy treated my sick dog as if he were a meaningless object rather than my furry son. I will never take my dog back to that dirty smelly place again... this guy would let your dog die over $20. Wrong type of person to run a vets office! This guy ought to switch to commodities the way he treats pets like dollar bills... that being said, the woman who works there is great, even though she has to fight the guy tooth and nail to be able to treat a pet like a family member rather than a piggy bank... vets are businesses, I get it, but this guy went too far... if he had cared about my dog or myself at all I would have bent over backward to get him his money. But now he can pound salt with his crappy greedy attitude... 0 stars
